Quell

The sea rages.  It reaches out long fingers and scratches blood lines down her leg.  But she - she stands at her easel and paints in the shallows.  She knows how to quell the tide.

    Haha, Erin.  It takes a fair bit of mind whittling.  If you could see my talking style, you'd be amazed that I could EVER be concise :P

  5. Haha, yeah :)  Well, in person, I flummox and my mind races and my thoughts go nuts and I think 170 things in the space of several seconds and by the time it comes out my mouth it's a wonder I make any sense at all ever!!

  6. Well you usually DO make sense. And I admire the skill it takes to be concise when you choose to exercise it. That's always been one big problem with my writing...I just have SO MUCH to say.
