Still doesn't wear glasses to read or anything. According to her (she is now 62), it's totally worth it.Kim Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02975389500855788501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4879615387850345622.post-26245021419099902132010-01-16T13:15:20.089+11:002010-01-16T13:15:20.089+11:00Barbara - wow, that's a lot of people in one w...Barbara - wow, that's a lot of people in one workplace having it done. Thanks for the feedback

Erin - eeek, I didn't realise it was so expensive. Thanks for the touch-up advice; I guess if I can find somewhere that allows me to pay it off I will go the route maybe.

Mike - you watched it? Wow, thee has a stronger stomach than me :) I'd throw up and have a nervous breakdown watching people's eyes be messed with, haha :) So it's about distance vision - hmmm, thanks for that.

Kel - well, then, here is a glass lifted to your eyes *clink* :DSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01122659239039900398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4879615387850345622.post-8106871382579460922010-01-15T21:07:39.806+11:002010-01-15T21:07:39.806+11:00sorry, not much help in this department

It's said that at some point, you will need reading glasses as they normally make the corrections for your distance vision. I also know that if your prescription is continuously changing, they don't recommend it either.

It's something to look into. I got to watch it done on a monitor and it's pretty awesome.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08283586290804985847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4879615387850345622.post-37417313412117389672010-01-15T15:05:24.189+11:002010-01-15T15:05:24.189+11:00I know lots of people who have had great luck with...I know lots of people who have had great luck with it. I don't know about there, but here, it would cost about $3000....so I've never been able to afford it. I've been a contact lens wearer since I was 14...you'd think one day I'd earn a break... :)

No it doesn't always last and it's not always perfect the first time. So be sure you go to a place that guarantees their results or will re-do it for you. Most places here will do "touch ups" for life.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01067954787472463337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4879615387850345622.post-79203412595696654312010-01-15T12:19:47.075+11:002010-01-15T12:19:47.075+11:00If I had the money for it, I'd do it in a hear...If I had the money for it, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Lots of people (maybe 10 - 15) that I used to work with had it and all of them were glad they did. I have worn contacts/glasses since I was 15 and my eyes are getting worse these days....not sure what to do about that.Bar L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11100008292699584336noreply@blogger.com
