Unfired. I'm actually pleased with this one though and am going to go to the effort to get it fired :)
Damn. Must cut fingernails before tomorrow's smoothing out and get rid of that big chunk I've put into the side of his leg :)
I love Rumi's field and Leonard Cohen's crack
funky lol
ReplyDeleteBut I, oddly enough, like it for unknown reasons....
Hot 'n' Cool 'n' flowing, Sue. I like it:)
ReplyDeleteI like it! Share again when it's fired.
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have a name for it? I can relate to him.
ReplyDeletewow, you've already developed your own style in claywork, with those very grounded feet making another appearance :)
ReplyDeletewith the painting on the wall as the background, and the expression on its face, it reminds me of "the scream"
would love to see how it turns out when fired, will you add any coloured glazes?
Hey, thanks to each one of you :) No, Barbara it doesn't have a name apart from "poured out". Thought I would resist naming it. And Kel, I was thinking of adding a glaze but I know nussing about such things so I guess I will have to do some research.
ReplyDeleteIt's positively adorable and I think it should have a name.
ReplyDeleteOkay then. His name is Ima. Ima Liddatipott. Thats the anglicised version. His father Ira changed it from Liddatipotovic when he came from Poland to Australia. He thought one mouthful per surname was enough. Ima added the extra 't' a few years ago cos he's into numerology and it bodes better financially and romantically for him. Apparently :)
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteI often wondered what happened to his mates, Ivan Uvacovipot and Sam O'Varr.
ReplyDeletelove the whimsy! I want to see it fired as well.
ReplyDeleteI had to look up to see what a samovar was, Harry. That Ivan - he sounds like a different breed altogether :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara, Erin!
Sam is his distant Irish Russian emigre cousin, Sue. There was a language barrier, I seem to remember. And Ivan over-percolated and was never heard of again. Rumour is he became a hermit.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Poor old Ivan! That's a very sad story! :)
