You take a look around as soon as you walk in. One other person here, finishing up. Good. Hopefully they will be gone by the time you get to begin. It is far better when you have the place to yourself.
It's a situation studded with intricacies. It's most crucial there's no soundtrack - the splash factor is ably avoided by scrunched up paper.
A social embarrassment strangely and irrationally shared by many, the Public Toilet Poo is best avoided wherever possible.
Well yes, probably one of the reasons I don't like camping much either.
ReplyDeleteHaha :) At least with camping there would be Unwritten Rule #87: We are stuck here together and shall respect each other seeing we are ALL going to be pooing amongst each other for the duration.
ReplyDeleteThe shopping centre is a strange one - it feels like Unwritten Rule #35 of shopping centre pooing is that you should have done it at home, you're inconveniencing the consumers :P
Ha.
ReplyDeleteHA!
I retain the right to feel it's just wrong to poo in public!
I liked how you started this one out and ended it with a bomb!
this is what i love about you Sue
ReplyDeleteyou dance where angels fear to tread
:-)
Hahaha! I can't stop laughing, Sue! You really know how to tackle the delicate subjects! I was just thinking about this yesterday, and every word is true. Just wait until you get to University and your classmates are there. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yet EVERYBODY does it! - why oh why are we so hung up on it?
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. It gets better in North America where ALL public washrooms have big gaps (like, at least half an inch) down each side of the door so you have to keep everything all hoiked up.
ReplyDeleteFUNNY! I began reading and wondered, Where is she going with this? I thought, maybe she's cutting a record? No, maybe listening to a recording? You are hilarious! Yes, we all do it ~ WHY are we so embarrassed ~ maybe because we think ours is different than the person's in the next stall? I'm still laughing!
ReplyDeleteSure, Colette. By all means that right ... but you surely must lay claim to its irrationality :)
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks, Kel. It's so much fun!!! :p
ReplyDeleteYou were just thinking about this the day before? Really? Haha, that's funny :)
ReplyDeleteIt's just ridiculous, isn't it, Sandra? Thanks for dropping by.
ReplyDeleteSo do you mean big gaps so that people could peek in at you if they wanted? That's weird!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know why we're embarrassed, it's so weird. Maybe it stems back to the fear of it causing contagion (which probably has an element of truth to it in certain ways)?
Yes actually. I was at school using the facilities and thinking about the problems with public bathrooming.
