The eucalypt shimmers in the garden.  What causes the shimmering - heat from the eye of the staring sun, or the breath of the 50 lorikeets sleeping beneath its leaves?

i can just see all those leaves fluttering up as the lorikeets breathe out

  2. Isn't this planet weird? Dark grey days here and staring sun over there. I feel warmer just reading this!

  3. It is weird, isn't it, Emma.  The whole ball thing is weird.  Although I guess it would be weird if we lived on a triangle.  Then you'd have three hemispheres ;)
