      I feel like I have grappled with the decreasing light for the last several years and totally come to terms with it. I think part of it is romanticising it - thinking that if it's dark early here then that's okay, and that it's summer in your part of the world.

      It is joy - although it's been feeling a little summery lately. Very strange!

      We have two new chooks - did you see them in that picture? They are about the same colour as the leaves they keep kicking onto the path. They are both lovely.

    I did! I love chickens - great personalities. I miss my chickies.

    It has been very sultry weather. At least we still have autumn colour though, up on the mountain.
