  1. I wonder if that's what we're like to God? Just a herd of hungry cats? But of course, never wanting what's being offered?

  2. Reminds me of the stray cats in the Forum in Rome. At sunset, they all line up and wash their faces in preparation of the "Mother of the Cats", an elderly Italian lady carrying a bag of scraps to feed them. The guards in the Forum encouraged me to wait and observe this daily event. Unforgettable.

  4. Erin - awww, I think he's a bit more kindly disposed to that, isn't he? What about that verse? Who of you, being evil, would give your cat a fish instead of a cheeseburger? I think God loves giving us cheeseburgers AND fish :)

Don't mind me - I need to go to bed :)

Barbara - what a beautiful image that was to read about at work this afternoon. And what a lovely lady Thank you :)

Andi - let's go. To Rome, to see the cat lady. Go on. :D

  5. Now, see, if we had a teleporter thing you and Andi COULD go to Rome!

And I don't suppose God minds feeding us, but sometimes I think we do have a demanding cat-like attitude, don't we?
