I think it was in '75 that we had snow at least one day in each of the first six months of the year, including 1st June... and a heatwave a week later! It's said the UK doesn't have climate, just a lot of weather:)
That's truer oop north & west, Sue. We see lotsa sun where I am, about halfway up the E of England. Weather's never boring - some parts haven't had a frost yet, and the daffodils & roses are getting all confused, not to mention the birdies nesting in my roof!
This is fun. It show me how there are similarities between where I am & where you are - highly variable weather, and the way it becomes one of the main things we notice.
