I don't know...yes, in the long term only a very few people will be remembered after they die, but I think everything we do in our lives today is significant, because everything we do (or don't do) leads to something else. Every day we have the chance to make someone smile, to do something nice...etc.

    Not to contradict Mr Ghandi or anything, because he was a smart guy.

  2. I don't think what you said contradicted Mr Ghandi at all. In fact, that's what I think it is actually saying, in the end. I agree, I think everything is significant, all of our small everyday actions are suffused with meaning if we can see it.

    I think Ghandi was talking about insignificant in terms of worldly fame and fortune and accolades.

    I am, I think, going to bed now :)
